Okayyyy....now let me get this straight (Plame madness)
Republicans have repeatedly insisted that JOE WILSON SAID THAT DICK CHENEY SENT HIM TO NIGER.

Joe Wilson is not on the record for saying that Cheney sent him. There's no such statement. Anywhere. Joe Wilson explains, 'Never did I say that Cheney sent me to Niger. What I did say is that Cheney requested that the CIA send someone to Niger. So, they CIA sent me. I was sent on behalf of the CIA, based on a request from Cheney.'

In response to Joe Wilson's clarification--THE REPUBLICANS ARE NOW CALLING JOE WILSON A LIAR???? Republicans are screaming, "OH! First Wilson says Cheney sent him; now Wilson says Cheney didn't send him. Wilson is a liar! He's contradicting himself!"

Sooooooooo....The Republicans make up a lie---that Joe Wilson said Cheney sent him to Niger. Then, Joe Wilson denies the lie and corrects it--and the Republicans finger Wilson as a liar for contradicting a LIE that Wilson never said in the first place.

Is that how it is???????

I have a headache.

2. They have always operated on the principle
that if you tell a big lie often enough people will believe it. No one has wised them up that it doesn't always work like that so they are sticking to their "principles".

3. Yup! That's about it!
They started this lie so long ago, nobody remembers the real truth. It's the same old tactic. Repeat, repeat, repeat, and soon it becomes truth!

4. Repeat as necessary: It's not about Wilson.
It's not about Wilson. It's not about Wilson. It's not about Wilson.

Even if Joe Wilson were biting the heads off of chickens; it's still NOT ABOUT JOE WILSON.

(but he's to much of a diplomat to offend the chicken community by doing that!)

7. It's a lot like the "Kerry is a flip-flopper" argument.
After a while people catch on. I think most people think Wilson is a credible guy. Bush's credibility is in the low 40s.

9. Why liars ultimately fail..
It's really very simple- people don't believe anything out of their mouths. To be a liar is to steal- to steal the trust of others and the very truth upon which reality is predicated.

Ultimately, we all just stop listening, stop trusting. Some might call it apathy, if we do nothing to hold the liars accountable. We need to get rid of them, punish and expose them, and not listen to them. Once you have lost people's trust you have NOTHING!

These *ites lie about everything and of course the house of cards will fall.
