They are turning on Novak!!
Can't say I feel sorry for him. Obviously this was someone calling in a planned leak to try and save Rove.

1. this is good
Now they will turn on each other - and the more they do, the more that will come out...; this is going to be an interesting year for the Bush Administration.

3. Novak learned from reporters?
Sorry, reporters weren't privy to CIA information. Someone leaked. This administration is the most corrupt since Nixon.

7. They turned on Novak a long time ago.

One thing to realize about these people is that they do not trust the media. If you venture over on FR, you'll find that any thread that mentions Novak, someone will pop up and say "Novak is a registered Democrat." Now that doesn't mean crap -- if local political offices were completely dominated in my home town by Republicans, I'd register Republican too so I could vote in their primary. (Thank goodness that's not the case here :-) Some people even register opposite their own party just to attempt to mess with the primaries.

These people are entirely convinced that the only true media is that of the guerilla hate-speach variety. They even think Ruport Murdoch is some sort of commie conspirator.

8. Whigs are fine to fry if it saves the Bush admin, perjury by Rove
is to stop the bleeding of Bushistas.Check out Joe Conason from last week at Salon. They really are scared it will be worse than Rove getting it for perjury.

13. Rove still told Cooper
So did Scooter Libby. It is important to find out where the leak originated, but Karl Rove still exposed the identity of a CIA operative. It doesn't matter how many people told other people, every single person who mentioned her is guilty.

14. Each day there is a new version of the story
and each version adds suspicions that Cheney was the grand master behind the leak.

16. it's yet another example
of the bushies taking responsibility and holding themselves accountable... (yeah right... :eyes: )

Wonder what Novak (et al) think of being set up as the scapegoat. Will Novak fall on his sword or will he use his "mighty" pen?
