bush's base, the ultimate enablers
If it weren't for white trash, the ku klux klan, aryan nation, free republic, religiously insane scum Americans, mehlman, limbaugh, hannity could not push their lies. bush's base (the #1 domestic enemy of the constitution) is the reason we are chatting about rove instead of watching reruns of the video of him being led off in handcuffs to jail. bush's base cares not about this country, national security or doing the right thing. They are urchins with diseased brains ruining this country from within. There is not only a cancer on the white house, there is a cancer on this country - the "conservative" movement which accepts lies, enables corrupt politicians and wants to use the constitution as a weapon against law abiding tax paying citizens, all in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Our country has been hijacked by the military-industrial complex
and a new age of robber baron capitalism has begun.

When we can find a democratic candidate for president that can say those words to the American people - we will be able to win elections again.

3. Two words:
kool aid.

I really can't think of a better explanation for how these sheeple can enable such a corrupt regime.

5. Evil leadership brings out the very worst
With that evil gang apparently anything goes -- they can only win by stealing an election.

They are enabling domestic terrorists --

There's an article posted on the editorials about the alternative reality that bush lives in -- and when you listen to his cult members they really do "believe" that bush is a good guy. However, if you happen to bring a glimpse of reality -- that their hero is a bum -- his/her gushing will instantly turn to the vilest language and behavior.

Right now we have a clear example of this behavior -- the way Andy was treated -- the freepers managed to block for a short time his access to funds which were to be used to pay for his cancer surgery. These same creeps managed to hound him -- their behavior was enabled by the rotten leadership coming from the white house.

From the white house -- it's acceptable to discriminate against any group that isn't white/male/very very very very rich. Hate crimes are acceptable -- especially against gays and "dark" people (Muslims or anyone who resembles them).

The cult members are embolden by the bush gang -- and they aren't any happier that their "side" has the white house, Senate, Congress and Supreme Court -- they still want to make we liberals fall lock step in line and ignore our own reality (that bushie is a traitor to everything that we were raised to believe about America).

Or . ... is bushie the real American -- and it is we liberals who are living in our own idealized world? Sometimes it's how know . . .

But then we have the truth to fall back on -- and how about Beatitudes as expressed by Jesus in the New Testament? I consider the Beatitudes one foundation of liberalism -- also the saying -- do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Many cultures have beatitudes type sayings. Hawaiians have a special feeling about the 'aina (land).
