A thread in GD is reporting that one of the judges on the grand jury |
|
is calling the outing of Valerie a "plot" against her husband.
It was supposedly said by Lawrence O'Donnell on Lou Dobbs' show.
Anyone know anything about this?
Have any more information????

2. Yes, that is what O'Donnell said. |
|
Very clearly. He made it clear they were considering it all a serious matter.

3. I heard O'Donnell say that. |
|
He didn't mince words. He said that it was a very serious issue, and it wouldn't have moved forward if the appeals judges involved didn't think it was a crime.
He also said it remains to be seen who the true criminal is.....

13. It's not serious according to FOX. All is fine with ROVE - he is sitting |
|
pretty. Off the hook. Fox says. I don't get to watch FOX - I saw it for about a half hour - what denial, propaganda denial style.
I hope I can watch FOX again on the day the country hears the charges against whomever.

8. Yes, that IS what Lawrence O'Donnell said to Lou Dobbs ... |
|
but that's all I know about it. Lou tried to tease his sources out of him, but he held firm and wouldn't say.

with the spin and talking points, and with the media repeating it over and over, I was starting to get a little apprehensive :hi:

12. Not specifically, but. I recall Wilson (yesterday) saying that a "work up" |
|
on him was started in March 2003. That would have been 4 months before Novak's CNN betrayal of the USA (via outing a NOC agent, which status Ms. Plame was confirmed having by Larry Johnson until the very time of her betrayal.

14. That would have given them a long time to obtain legal counsel. |
|
Obsiously, they didn't or they got Ashcroft to 'fix'a way.
Other motivations:
Cheney wanted to shut down the Plame/Brewster Jennings investigation.
Bush had a revenge tantrum and demanded they get Wilson.
Libby and Rove were given orders by both.

15. There are no judges on a grand jury |
|
Grand juries are drawn from the same jury pools that criminal and civil juries come from. That means you or I could end up on a grand jury one day. Grand juries are, however, overseen by a judge, who has the power to dismiss them or extend their terms and who issues subpoenas on their behalf.
Perhaps O'Donnell was talking about a grand juror or a judge overseeing the grand jury.
BTW, the term of the grand jury investigating the Plame case is set to expire in October.
