| Who is really in charge, Rove or Cheney? |

My impression is that the real power in the White House are these two. But which one is really in charge? If it came down to one of these two men taking the fall, which one would it be? I don't see Rove taking the fall for anyone.

keeps Bush from embarrassing him too badly... he sort of puts words in his mouth and runs interference... Who was it that said that Bush firing Rove would be like Charlie McCarthy firing Edgar Bergen?
That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.

but appreciates Rove's talent of how to manipulate the puppet boosh to rally three divergent groups under the same tent: the ultra rich, the religious right & the ignorant & stupid.
