Could Gonzalez and Ashcroft be involved as subjects in the cover-up portion of the investigation???

Ashcroft delayed notifying the White House about the Plame leak investigation for FOUR DAYS. When Ashcroft finally did notify the White House, Gonzalez asked if he could have an EXTRA DAY before he alerted the White House staff to preserve all documents relevant to the investigation!

1. Gonzalez did get promoted. Like Condi, Hadley, Rove, Bolton,

Wolfowitz. Only the inside players who do the dirty work seem to get a boost out of this administration.

Thank goodness that Bolton's promotion looks completely thwarted at this point.
