Has Bush ever fired anyone?
It seems to me that his sole core value is loyalty, undoubtedly learned from his preppy school chums and secretive family. I think he'll keep Rove until the day the indictment comes down.

3. Hmmm.... That kind of fits my theory. Tenet wasn't in the Shrub Club to
begin with.

16. Spanish Civil War
"NO pasaran!" was the republican cry to stop the fascists from taking the country. It was on many posters of the era.

5. O'Neill gave shrub the bad news that his economic plan would only

6. Besides Tenet, Paul O'Neill, Richard Clarke (forced out)...
Bush was Poppy Bush's hatchet man. He notoriously dismissed some of his staff--Sununnu?

9. How bout Powell?
I believe Powell's resignation was demanded from Bush when Powell told him they were losing in Iraq.

7. Sammy Sosa, when Bush was a Texas Ranger owner
Bush has called trading Sosa to the Cubs the biggest mistake of his life. Never mind Iraq or a few others.

17. The shrub was merely a puppet as "owner" of the Rangers, much as he
is, well you can figure out the rest.

15. During his GHW Bush's administration, he fired John Sununu
Or at least he tried to. He "fired" Sununu in such a way the target didn't get the missile and after * left, other staff members had to tell Sununu that it was all over at the WH.

* is no good even with a slam dunk. He can't hold a job and he certainly is no executive.

18. Some folks think that if they fire someone that they hired,,,,
it reflects badly on their own judgement (of hiring them in the first place)

I used to work for a man like this,,,, he used to leave a copy of the Sunday Paper's job listings on a guy's desk each Monday morning,,,,
