Raw Story has Cooper's Time Mag story up.
The relevant excerpts, that is. ..

Hm...

"I have a distinct memory of Rove ending the call by saying, 'I've already said too much,'" he wrote. "This could have meant he was worried about being indiscreet, or it could have meant he was late for a meeting or something else. I don't know, but that sign-off has been in my memory for two years."

7. I take it as kind of a "nudge nudge, wink wink" figure of speech
Rove knew exactly what he was doing.

3. Whoa! He knew it was classified
he told Cooper:

When he said things would be declassified soon, was that itself impermissible? I don't know.

He acknowledged that the info he gave Cooper was, at that moment at least, CLASSIFIED

4. On MTP this AM Cooper also confirmed there were more than
2 sources. I was surprised to hear that! He said that the GJ knew about them and when asked if he had gotten the same personal release from all those other sources, he simply said, I had releases for evrything I testified to before the GJ.

Hmmmm

5. Seems to me that if Rove said it would soon be declassified,
then it was, at the time, classified and Rove had no business commenting on it, discussing, mentioning it, at all.

Fitzgerald should convict the entire lot of 'em because if Rove, Fleisher, or Libby, or Hadley, didn't leak the story, then they know who did. You cannot have the level of corroboration among all these WH folks without them knowing the real story and who is in fact guilty. If this is the case it is perjury and obstruction at the very least, and conspiracy to obstruct.

Did Cheney and Bush know? I believe they did but I don't think they will ever go down because of it.

I think Novak should also be thrown in the slammer for outing the agent. Knowing she was a covert operative, he should have not printed that information. The information was not germain to his story and he could have ommitted that part. He is guilty, too.

6. Which crime is Fitzgerald pursuing?
This leads me to believe Fitz is no longer pursuing the charge based on Intelligence Agent Identity protection Act, which is notoriously difficult to prosecute.

Instead he's going after the much broader and easier to prosecute crime of leaking classified information.

"So did Rove leak Plame's name to me, or tell me she was covert?" he scores. "No. Was it through my conversation with Rove that I learned for the first time that Wilson's wife worked at the CIA and may have been responsible for sending him? Yes. Did Rove say that she worked at the "agency" on "WMD"? Yes. When he said things would be declassified soon, was that itself impermissible? I don't know. Is any of this a crime? Beats me. At this point, I'm as curious as anyone else to see what Patrick Fitzgerald has."
