So, why should journalists feel that we should be cuing the violins for
them and their sources, given the dynamics of this Plame leak? Howie Kurtz and his cronies are all on today wailing about how the press has been so maligned. Why can't someone just spit back into their faces their willingness to faun and grovel at the feet of power and corruption? First, Friedman and that damnable Governor's Conference and now this. I'm getting cranky. Too bad I didn't plant another row or two of green beans--I'd still be picking instead of listening to this crap.

a distinction between protecting sources when you, the reporter, are the third party in an investigative situation AFTER the whistleblower and wrongdoer.

However, when they are not the third party, but ARE the second party in a PLOT to take REVENGE OR STOP AN INVESTIGATION on someone in partisan cooperation WITH THE WRONGDOER - they should go to jail - sooner or later.

Why can't journalists see that distinction? If you are a co-conspirator against someone - and break laws or help someone break laws ... you should go to jail.

Why is it that the msm press is so stupid that they can't see the distinction?

There are some in the press that I admire more each day. However, I hope that no one else on my list of journalists, whom I respect, don't disappoint like Bernstein did.

WHY DOES THE MEDIA BELIEVE THAT THEY CAN COOPERATE WITH THE WHITE HOUSE TO WILLINGLY AND PERMISSIVELY DO THE DIRTY WORK FOR THE WHITE HOUSE AND POSSIBLY BREAK LAWS IN THE ACT?
