Are Cheney's illnesses getting serious enough for him to resign? |
|
In the last week week or so, there have been a couple of reports of medical problems from the Vice-President's office. Just how serious are these problems? Will he be stepping down in the near future? Like, right before the indictments come down from Fitzgerald?
(The report of an enlarged rectum diagnosis have not been verified, although the doctor did say he was a "big asshole"):)

2. It must be a cover since he does not wish to be impeached |
|
and surely this would happen with his link to the Rove legal problems.

For the same reason Nixon needed Agnew. Nobody even dared to think about impeachment until Ford replaced Spiro.:scared:

9. oh now that just made me sick |

I was wondering this morning if the entire wh misadministration is thrown in jail, will this country descend into civil war? Would special elections be called? Who from the democratic party would have enough political power to rise up and lead the country? I love the thought of getting rid of chimpy and crew, but looking at the scene in Iraq, would the in fighting here become the same as there (leaving out the blood bath that is occuring and just looking at the political arena)

8. his excessive puking is because he is getting sick |

with fear. Scooter and Turd Blossom are just a heartbeat away from him and chimpy. Even if Old Heartless resigns, he can still be tried for war crimes. I would prefer the firing squad for him, but anyway the planet can get rid of his evil self will be fine with me.

then he won't need to be impeached to be prosecuted. He can be charged directly.

18. I worry that dumbya will pick |
|
a veep that would be more electable. That would give the veep an inside track in '08. cheney's poll numbers among independants & moderate repubs is abysmall. He'd never get elected pres. Plus all his ailments.
While I love the idea of cheney being indicted I think he's too smart to get his hands dirty. Someone else did the work for him & he's hiding behind them.
So, what I see is a fat chance cheney being prosecuted or some other repug getting the inside track,
