It seems to me that people are being overwhelmed by the
Republican strategy of constant, repetitious and irrelevant lies. It would be a full-time job, with two assistants, to even attempt to keep all their bullshit and 'talking points' straight. We should not be giving a flying fuck about pictures in Vanity Fair or Joe Wilson's exact words or the chain of command at the CIA or any of this other bullshit. The appropriate response to anything a Republican says should be "and why should I believe you, you lying motherfucker, everything you have said in the past has been total unadulterated bullshit. Where are the WMD's? Why is Bin Laden still alive? Why is Iraq such a mess when you said we'd be greeted a liberators? What is in the 28 pages that we can't see? I don't believe anything you say and won't waste my 'beautiful mind' thinking about the crap you are handing out now."

1. How do you tell when a Republican is lying?
His lips are moving.

3. Yep
And it's all we should have said for the last several years. I do not know why people think the way to defeat Republicans is to spar with every crazy lie, they'll just create more. Lies are easy to create. The only correct response is "How do you know a Republican is lying? Their lips are moving."

6. THAT'S IT!!!
How to counter all the spin on the talking head shows...You send someone with a spine on the show who only responds with "You're lying."

Eventually someone will ask..."How do you know I'm lying?"

"Your lips are moving."

This scenario has me LOL.

8. If we expend energy battling their lies, we don't have any time for truth
They will always put out more lies, and we will chase them like a puppy chasing it's tail. Instead we need to be putting forth the TRUTH which will do more to disprove their lies than actually fighting their lies ever will.

Fighting or trying to disprove a lie just gives it more life. Suddenly a lie becomes a debatable fact with two sides. I say let the lies lie.

9. the Republican Party is a terrorist organization
Enough of the corruption, kleptocracy, warmongering, fascism, and just plain evil. Time to dissolve the organization and put them all on trial. If any of them get acquitted and care to return to politics they can form a new political party to do it.

10. Hard to argue with success
If you say something enough times and consistently enough, people will believe it.

When will the Dems learn this lesson?
