Late winter/early spring of 2002. A Vietnam vet on a local sports radio station was talking politics, and mentioned PNAC. I'm only 26, so as I kept reading back then, at first it was shocking. The whole big picture aspect of it.
"The few hours I took to read through a lot of material helped me understand how the unleashing of the evil minds of this group into such positions of power in our government has cast such a dark shadow over this country and so many others."

Those are just some extra links, and there are obviously plenty more out there. AEI, not to mention the list of defense contractors. The same names always pop up, and have for decades. They're all part of the same think tanks, all backed by the same money. They all snake in and out of government every few years, and make an extra million or two when they're out in the private life.
One thing you have to give them, they don't screw around. They make money, they kill, they write policy, they tell us they need a new Pearl Harbor to get their real plans off the ground. They don't really hide it. That's what was shocking to me when I first read all the PNAC stuff. Usuaully you'll get some crazy theories out there. But when it's on their own website, in a policy document, endorsed by the major players currently in power, I know my jaw dropped to the floor a few years ago.
I remember reading Chalabi's name months before he was ever mentioned in any major media story in this country. Sure enough, he showed up. Hell, he's still in Iraq, in some government position.
