Will Kerry get a bounce from 60 Minutes and the Newsweek poll showing him beating Bush?

10. Monday's water-cooler/ coffee break conversations will be "60 Minutes" |
|
The Halliburton and the Kerry segments. The Andy Rooney piece will remind people of how tired everyone is of the Chimpster.
Kerry gets a boost.

You notice a whole lot of Ahhhnold movies being played now? Either they're trying to scare the little kids that the new governor is killing alot of people or they're trying to get folk to think they can trust Ahhhnold to protect them...namely the 15 billion dollar Ahhhhnold boondoggle?

and I know they are bullshit, but I can't NOT look at them, no matter how hard I try. I've even hidden some threads of poll numbers, only to unhide them so I can peek.
It's gonna put me on anti depressants, I tell ya.

Kerry: 36% (-2) Dean: 25% (steady) Clark: 13% (+3) Edwards: 10% (+1) Lieberman: 10% (-2) Kucinich: 1% (-1) Sharpton: 0% (+1) None: 4% (steady)
Looks like Clark and Edwards taking from Kerry and Lieberman.
Good news for Dean supporters:
Serious doubts from speech 30% No effect 69%

20. The number that sticks out the most: |
|
B. Has the best chance of beating George W. Bush in November ?
Clark 9 Dean 16 Edwards 7 Kerry 56 Lieberman 6 Kucinich * Sharpton * All equally/no opinion 6
Kerry and Dean are pretty much tied in all of the other questions in this poll, except for that one, which explains Kerry's (still) impressive lead, and which, imo, foreshadows a convincing win for Kerry.

really highlights why the Democrats keep losing. When a majority think a northeastern liberal with a more liberal rating than JFK has the strongest chance of beating Bush you know we are in trouble.

for Dean's no nonsense, straight talk. For a while when Kerry was not so far ahead, he was incorporating a little of Dean's style and phrasing. Now that he is ahead, I'm seeing more of the old Kerry. Dean needs to stay in the race to keep the energy and enthusiasm from the down to earth fiscal conservative, social liberal, centrist voters like me!!!! To much of a fiscal liberal record is a really bad thing going head to head with the republican base platform!
