When was the last time Cheney was sighted?
I just noticed that I haven't seen or heard from him in a couple months, aside from a couple of reports that he had gone to the hospital for "an old knee injury" and "routine checkup".

Odd, huh?

5. he's due in MN this Friday - - -
Edited on Wed Jul-20-05 11:23 PM by jean
Vice President Dick Cheney is coming to Minnesota on Friday to raise money for the Senate campaign of Rep. Mark Kennedy, R-Minn. The event will take place at the Wayzata home of former state GOP chairman Bill Cooper and will not be open to the public. Couples paying $4,200 can get their picture taken with Cheney and admission to the reception; luncheon-only tickets cost $1,000 a person. Kennedy faces no major opposition in the Republican primary to replace U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton, D-Minn., who is not seeking reelection. "Congressman Kennedy has been an important member of the House, and we look forward to working with him in the Senate," said Jennifer Mayfield, a Cheney spokeswoman.

edit: Mark Kennedy is the repub representative Michael Moore interviews in F/911, as Kennedy crosses the street, asking what pols have family fighting in Iraq. He's an empty suit and yes man for bush/cheney.

9. Word has it...
...that Cheney emerged from his oxygen chamber, saw his enormous shadow and then retreated.

Pundits are speculating that this means 6 more years of war.

16. LOL, I remember a report in the LAT
after the 2000 electins:

When Bush went in front of cameras to reassure the nation, he failed to mention that his running mate had just had an angioplasty because his staff had withheld that information from him. "That was a mistake," his aide now agrees "but, frankly, none of us thought there was a prayer he could pronounce "angioplasty."
