The root of all evil - President Kennedy and affirmative action.
http://www.clevescene.com/Issues/2005-06-01/news/feature.html
I read an article in Scene Magazine, a local paper here in Cleveland. There's a really good story about our previous mayor and his extortion ring, definitely recommended reading. There was also a story about an outbreak in attempted abductions of children. Massilon is not that far from Cleveland so I read it intently. After I finished, I looked for more articles about these attempted abductions and ran smack dab into the reason most people believe our election was fair. This is the post from a paper in Wooster, OH

"Abduction attempts reinforce need for precaution e...
Abduction attempts reinforce need for precaution education
Since President Kennedy disqualified fathers with white skin for affirmative action. Children have no security. This purged America of the natural protector and provider of the children they conceive. And put a monitory value on protecting children from abduction."

People, this is why many Americans believe we voted for Bush. I of course had to reply so I signed up to the site and posted this reply:

"I beg to differ
I can assure you, neither President Kennedy nor affirmative action have anything to do with these attempted abductions. This person is obviously following some deranged agenda and I guarantee you it has nothing to do with ensuring equal pay to people with different skin color or genitalia as they labor at the same jobs as us white people. This guy is either simply trying to frighten your neighborhoods or is actually attempting to abduct a child and cause them harm. In either case, I am sure he has gone way beyond the point of any affect affirmative action may have had on his life. Now I hope he is just trying to frighten your neighborhoods, it appears this may be the case as he has failed repeatedly to actually abduct his prey. However, he could just be warming up, gauging the response and feeling out the lay of the land as he grows his courage. One never knows but I am quite sure that the root of this evil is not affirmative action or President Kennedy."

So my question to you here at DU is, how committed are you to fixing the problems of this country? Can you help this woman or is she beyond hope? If you can, I have a state filled with many just like her. Please help, Ohio! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

1. Well I don't mean to take a shot
at you, or males in general...but it fascinates me that a group so keen to tell us how superior they are (white Repub males)...can't handle a little competition from women, or people of color, or gays or...

They were only 'superior' when no one was able to challenge them apparently. Level the playing field and they're screaming!

3. Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas & Condi Rice
all said they benefited from affirmative action. Thomas and Rice want affirmative action done away with. They got theirs.
