Damn it! Take a stand and fight.
To all Democratic and pro-choice Republican Senators:

I expect, at the very least, pointed, direct and specific questioning of President Bush's Supreme Court nominee John G. Roberts Jr during the confirmation hearings. I want to know what his views are on privacy and, more to the point, what are his views on Roe v Wade. If he refuses to answer questions re: these matters or openly opposes privacy rights related to healthcare issues, I expect nothing less than a NO vote from you. He may still have enough votes from the far RW zealots who have taken over the Republican party, but none of those votes should come from any of you.

I will accept no excuses. NONE.

I don't think my expectations are unreasonable on this matter. It's the minimum necessary IMO.

My point is I want them to do their jobs and ask the question that everyone wants/needs to know.

6. I heard some of the talking heads on TV and radio stating candidates
do not talk about specific cases they may be involved in later.
