Springer talking about a State Dept. memo(just unclassified)
Sent to AF 1, with gwb on board, the day after Wilson's editorial was published.

It was labeled "top secret" and 1. Confirmed Wilson's assertions about the yellowcake and Niger. plus

2. Offered the information that Wilson was married to Plame.

Is anyone else listening? Is this new information? It sounds pretty incriminating, however, I wonder why it isn't receiving further media play.

1. Isn't is a crime to de-classify a secret document
for the political gain?

3. It can be declassified anytime the originator deems fit.

information routinely. If it was leaked before it was declassified then there is a problem. Whether or not it is a crime would depend on what was leaked. Like a memo saying the Bush twins were busted again that is classified wouldn't be. Exposing a covert CIA agent would be.

2. It's been front page news in the Washington Post and
the Wall Street Journal, and was reported by Keith OLberman last night---breaks down all arguments that no one knew she was a covert agent. What I find interesting is that the memo refers to Mrs. Wilson as Valerie WILSON, and not Valerie PLAME, the name Novak used in the article---hmmm--wonder how he knew her MAIDEN name?
