Clinton on Al Franken's show today |
|
I just listened to Al Franken interviewing Bill Clinton, who is on yet another African trip. The issues discussed were all interesting and important, but the real impressive aspect of the entire talk was Clinton's total mastery of every topic that was brought up.
I really miss that - having an intelligent, articulate, visionary, optimistic leader. It's too bad for Bush that his administration directly followed Clinton's, since it only makes the contrast in their abilities even more glaring.

....President Clinton back where ever the phone connection dropped him. Clinton has such a brilliant mind. He needs to be drafted as dictator of the United States for life to clean up this mess that BushCo and the rethuglicans have created.

if the next dem nominee in 2008 came out in favor of making him a general ambassador to the world. Hell, he's all over the place already anyway. In '04, I thought that Kerry should have promised the country that he'd make Clinton mid-east ambassador, in charge of Israel/Palestine and Arab states.
