Republicans Speaking Out Against the War - Must Read!!!
I think we've been too hard on Republicans. Turns out, they've issued many public statements against the war, but we've just been them. For example, take a look at these:

“You can support the troops but not the president”
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)

President…is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation’s armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy.”
-Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA)

“I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning…I didn’t think we had done enough in the diplomatic area.”
-Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

“Well, I just think it’s a bad idea. What’s going to happen is they’re going to be over there for 10, 15, maybe 20 years”
-Joe Scarborough (R-FL)

“Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?”
-Sean Hannity, Fox News

“Bombing a sovereign nation for ill-defined reasons with vague objectives undermines the American stature in the world. The international respect and trust for America has diminished every time we casually let the bombs fly.”
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)

“This is President Clinton’s war, and when he falls flat on his face, that’s his problem.”
-Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN)

Hey, wait a minute! Clinton's war?

Yup, that's right, all of these statements refer to Kosovo air strikes while Clinton was President. Read these quotes and several more like them at http://www.thepoorman.net/2005/06/29/words-to-remember/

1. Yar well? What else is new?
I am sick of all Presidents in any party starting any wars. They just waste people and money.

</freeptard>

Don't expect these hypocritical jackasses to acknowledge the inconsitency that their pathetic lives have become. They are partisan hacks. And idiots. Period. In their minds, 9-11 gave them a clean slate - it was like being born again.

4. Its amazing how they can be wrong every single fucking time
We lost not one single solitary soldier, genocide was stopped, we had the support of the world, and the objectives were all accomplished.

Compare that to, uhm, the current glorious crusade, headed by commander bunnypants.
