3. She was brilliant.
She needs help in urging the other members of Congress to sign on to her resolution of inquiry regarding the Downing Street Memo.
Please contact your representatives and ask them to support this resolution.

5. The turn-out was STANDING ROOM ONLY!!
It was absolutely amazing.
We need people in the middle of America to start questioning their elected representatives about the Downing Street Memo and support Barbara Lee in her resolution of inquiry that she has introduced in the House.
This needs to go forward.

9. Yes, she sounds very hopeful. It seems the tides of the opinion polls
are shifting now in regards to people's belief and trust in this Presidency. We have to keep on the media and our elected officials to follow through with this.

8. I, personally, had contacted 3 TV stations a couple of days ago
inquiring as to whether or not they were going to cover it. I contacted KTVU, Channel 2 in Oakland, KGO, Channel 7 in SF, and KRON, Channel 4 in SF.
I was sooo happy to see cameras and Isabelle Duron there from Channel 4. Don't know if it was in response to my contacting them or not - but it made me feel hopeful that perhaps people DO listen on occasion.

7. IMHO it was from one person who wanted to know "why Kerry rolled over"
in the '04 race - which then led to what we can do NOW to get going on replacing elected officials who are stonewalling any information as to why we are at war with Iraq.

10. Also, I might add, that one person made comments on hearing that the
Pentagon is beginning to become involved in the business of collecting information on citizens here in this country and wondered if that was true or not. (I do have to say that I may not be phrasing this correctly as there was a bit of talking around me at the time). Barbara Lee answered in the affirmative, that it was indeed taking place.
Perhaps someone here has more information regarding this that could enlighten us?

21. What was her answer?
I am really tired of us eating our own. No other presidental candidate wouldn't have gotten this much abuse as Kerry has. Shame.

22. It really wasn't her place to answer and she didn't gracefully for
which I applaud her. I think what you're hearing is the collective anger of the Democrats for having been drug through the mud during the past Presidential campaign without a resounding comeback from Kerry or his followers. It is amazing to me to watch how John McCain is not responding to the attacks that he also received from the Bush/Rove dirty tricks. Plus the fact that he is now seemingly a lapdog to the Republican agenda.
Daniel Ellsberg was critical of Kerry's recent voting record of increasing the military funding for the Iraq debacle.

25. You're very welcome.
I hope we will see history being made again. I hope that there will be nudging of consciences in the House & Senate starting in September after their 'vacation'. Of course, the consciences will have to be helped along with e-mails, telephone calls and letters from their constituents regarding the Downing Street Memo - calling for answers from our (supposedly) elected leaders.

Please let your voice be one of them.

16. I looked for you. But it was so crowded I probably wouldn't have
seen you anyway. Thankfully there were a bunch of petitioners there as well. I signed one for keeping Diebold out of California. Also signed one for Impeachment of Bush. I know it's wishful thinking, but you know - when the opportunity presents itself - you can't pass it up.

Thanks for the reminder..I and my sister protested on Feb 15, 2003 in NYC.
