Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 08:58 PM by kentuck
of high-ranking stature continue to come out in support of him? Can they be sure he is what they think he is? Do these Democrats know something that they don't? Maybe Ann Coulter is right, they might be asking? Maybe we'd better take a closer look at him? He could be a sheep in wolf's clothing??

(edited for clarification) :)

2. democrats should not come out for or against him
they should find out where he stands on privacy issues, and Roe V Wade

but I have the upmost confidence that the non-leadership we have had in the democratic party will continue

if it is pro or so so watch the right go crazy. This is the business guy. All the corporate guys trash the religious right.

7. I just don't like the feel of the guy, Roberts. Strange vibes.
I'm being irrational here, just reporting my gut insticts. But if rational is half of our selves, irrational is the othere half -- and it is worth paying attention to. I do not like the feel of Roberts. I get Bad Vibes from the Dude. Weird vibes.

I mistrust him. Why? Can't say exactly. But I am glad we have many weeks until his confirmation hearings. More time to suss him out.

I predict Roberts will go down in ugly, stinking flames. Totally irrational, I know, but that's what I feel.

9. Just wait till they grow more
suspicious of his wife too. Pro-life -- great, but what's that business of her being a "feminist"?!
