In the latter days of the chimp's first term |
|
We used to hear a lot of anectdotal stories from DUers who were finding many people (who voted for GWB the first time around) were mad at the administration and who were definitely not going to do it a second time. But now, the question is clearer: how many people have heard from other voters in their areas who stupidly supported this regime FOR THE SECOND TIME and are now (a little late, obviously) finally seeing the light? I'd be curious to see how discontent these people are who were morons to let him get put into office for a second term. Hopefully, they are dissatisfied to finally get off the GOP bandwagon and realized how fucked up the GOP truly is.

They still stand by him proudly. You see, he's a man of God, and Democrats are heathens. That's their way of thinking, and I'm not kidding. The day after the 04 election, one of the many fundies I work with came to my office and stated that the Democrats lose because they aren't "moral" and "Christian."

2. If only repubs were that logical, |

but I don't have much hope left. I will however welcome all people to the Democratic Party. But someone who voted for * twice couldn't possibly be very bright.

former hippie-pot smoking-Grateful Dead-lovin'-librul-to-his-bones, voted for Bush twice because he believes everything Rush tells him. He just told me the other night that the Karl Rove thing is the last straw for him. He almost turned against the Chimperor over the Iraq invasion, but Rush and O'Reilly brought him around. NOW he regrets it...

4. I'm still waiting for someone to do a poll... |
|
and ask only those who actually voted in '04 if they would still vote as they did or would change their vote. They always ask, "if the election were held today..." about future elections, why not ask it about previous elections? I'd love to see how many of those who voted for the Chimpinator who regret their vote or who are dissappointed in him.
Come on, CNN, MSNBC! It would sure beat the hell out of those lame-ass polls you usually ask.

5. I've got three at work |
|
saying they won't vote repub again. And two diehards what flinch when they see me. One of those last thursday, finally said rove has to go. Not a big move but one any ways. I've got another year till elections to work on them. Both have given up on sending me stupid repub. e-mails. It gives me too much ammo to fire back.
