3. Remember all those phony "terrorist alerts" just before the election?
I don't think they fooled anybody. People were laughing about them. But I suspect that they were intended to "terrorize" anybody into voting for Bush. I think they had a different purpose--to prepare us psychologically for Election Fraud Plan C. Plan A was Diebold and ES&S (a switch of about 4%, on average, in the east coast time zone). Plan B was Ohio (overt vote suppression--needed because Kerry's win was bigger than expected, about a 10% margin). Plan C was a selective "terrorist alert" shutdown of the vote in large western cities (should the fraud plan run into snags in the east).

Most people don't remember this, but Dick Cheney took off for Hawaii two days before the election--with Cheney saying that Hawaii was promising to turn "red" (Hawaii!!!), and he was going there to pump for votes. Uh-huh. And after chowing down on the fat pigs they roasted that night on a open fire on some Hawaiian beach, and a trayful of tropical drinks with little umbrellas in them, Cheney went down to the shore and shook hands with some of the fish, and asked them to vote for him, cuz nobody in Hawaii would even say aloha, let alone sign a loyalty oath to hear Cheney speak. And, after he got done asking for votes in Hawaii, he got back into his plane and headed out over the Pacific to...

...can't miss it, really--the west coast of the U.S. And what was supposed to happen at that point if Bush-Cheney was losing on the east coast and in the midwest, despite all the assurances from those nerdy guys, and despite depriving half of Ohio of voting machines and real ballots? The V-P's plane in trouble over the Pacific, maybe a nuke on board, emergency landing at LAX, all air traffic grounded, all vehicles bumper to bumper, evacuation orders, cops, cops, cops everywhere; all brown people stay home and don't vote; San Francisco, Portland and Seattle shut down, too; and then a big brouhaha between Schwarzenegger and Kevin Shelley over whether or not a partial vote favoring Bush-Cheney is valid. Shelly all set up, too, just before the election--with phony corruption charges against him floated in the news--in case needed (used later to get rid of him anyway). Then the battle moves to the northwest, where they muscle through enough of a partial vote to get "re-elected."

Plan C. Cheney smiled his snarly smile at the leavings of the roast pig, and thought about Karl Rove and all those fishy votes out in the Pacific---millions and millions of glittery, silvery fishy votes. "What a genius," he muttered, as the red ball of sun nuked the horizon. "Pure genius. We shall have to reward him with a medal. A nice, glittery, silvery fishy medal." And he sank into a reverie about the millions and millions and billions and trillions of...whatever.
