Well, we did it. We fell into Rove's trap. We dropped the DSM completely. When was the last time you heard of it? We hit Plamegate and dropped the DSM. Now we're starting to drop Plamegate to go after Roberts. This is why we can't get anything done. We keep dropping our biggest fights for others and as soon as we start making progress in one arena, we drop it and move on to another. I'm not sure what the solution to this problem is, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed it as well.

1. Keep the faith...they are all connected. Once one falls, it all falls. |
|
I only hope our country can survive the blast.

2. There's no reason why we can't get them back in the spotlight |
|
especially the Plame outing, an ongoing investigation.

5. Plamegate IS the DSM issue |
|
They are tied together.
If you check the DU homepage, I think you'll see ample evidence that it hasn't been dropped.
The fact that they've done something criminal that's being investigated does NOT give them a free pass on every other issue.

I am pleased how much is still being done with everything. And I, too, believe it will all tie in together. Unfortunately, the moron running the country is not up to the tasks with which he is going to be faced.

The mass media goes whereever it wants to. How can we tell them what they need to focus on.

I just hate how "grateful" I feel when someone in the MSM deigns to comment on something that's important to us. Then we have to sit on the edge of our seats, hoping and praying they won't drop it.

Please sign the petition (linked) urging your Congressional members to support Congresswoman Barbara Lee's 'Resolution of Inquiry' introduced into the House on 7/21/05 regarding the Downing Street Memo. We need to have our voices heard in Washington - especially on the REPUBLICAN side of the aisle - as to how important this issue is to us and to our nation.

12. That's What the Repugs Want to Believe. I Don't Believe: |
|
1) That Fitz is going to forget to prosecute these traitorous thugs, even if we get distracted;
2) That the British Labor Party, the UK Gov't, and the British public is going to forget about the DSM, even if we get distracted;
3) That whomever eventually prosecutes BushCo for Iraq war crimes is going to forget that the DSM has probatitive value, even if it drops off the screen as a singular political issue;
3) That we're going to forget about Plamegate because of some SCOTUS nominations;
Most of us can walk and chew gum, unlike some GOP Presidents. Don't worry, none of this stuff is going away just because of the rotations of the news cycle.
