Cable News Is 24 Hrs of Piping Hot Propaganda

I felt compelled to post this. CNN has run the graphic "LONDON TERROR" in big letters at least 10 minutes of every hour today. What does that mean? I know there were bombings in London and I know some guy got a cranium full lead trying to get to work, but the word "terror" is so vague. They are currently following the London bombing stories with the graphic "LOOKING INWARD". I guess the viewer is just supposed to see the word "TERROR" followed by "LOOKING INWARD" and be afraid. I thought psyops and brainwashing techniques were supposed to be a bit less naked and obvious. They should just drop the soft shoe routine and just run "BE AFRAID" all the time as there tag line graphic. As BushCo. continues to be revealed, you can expect the cable media pimps to start ratcheting up the hyperbolic, hysterical tone of their graphics. If Rove gets indicted, the cable news departments will have to start making it personal to be effective. Look for shit like "THEY ARE GONNA KILL YOU PAULA JOHNSON OF POSSUM SCROTUM,INDIANA".

They think they are reporting real news, and also doing a good job at it. Kripes, they are all really catatonic (that's my word of the day).

One other thing they're trying to make news is the heat wave. Hey, we've had 'em before people. Let's get to the real news about the pretty blonde still missing in Aruba and the girl who ran away from her wedding, which ended in a movie offer, o.k.?

Turn it off. It's summer. Stop letting them feed into your brain. I did and have not looked back. Rather, I tune-in to particulars like C-SPAN, etc. That way, I get to "see" what's going on as it happens.

Admittedly, I do like those McClellan Press conferences *NOW* -- only since our press has been re-born again with their freedom of speech.
