This would be my dream GOP Ticket in 2008
Tom Tancredo for President
Rick Santorum for VP

They could run on the Totally Batshit platform. Their campaign theme song could be "Crazy" by Patsy Cline.

4. what worries me is they might actually win
You know they'd run the South. Never deny or misunderestimate (great Bushism) the power of both the racist, homophobic, misogynistic bigot vote or the total effin' idiot vote. Tough to beat. :)

24. We all underestimated both Ray-gun and bunkerboy to our misfortunes.
I would never make such a risk.

The best national ticket would be for Kennedy to become a republican and run against Boxer or McKinney. Then we'd finally have a choice amongst the best for a change!

17. The flip side was the "song" played backwards. We used to
love to play it on the jukebox just before leaving a place.

23. Save that idea!!
Or send it to MoveOn!! I don't care who runs on the GOP ticket, we need to marginalize them and trivialize them as they've done with our candidates. Make them cartoons, show them in fast-motion, play songs like "Funny Farm." Make them unacceptably ridiculous.

(If it's dirty pool, I don't care. I want my country back -- and issues alone don't do it.)

20. That could be really good or really bad.
Good news is, with a fringe ticket like that, we could run two ACTUAL Democrats and still win in a landslide bigger than Reagan's.

Except for the electro-fraud voting. That's the bad news. At this point, I believe those thieves and liars would have the balls to turn a Democratic landslide into a Republican one through fraud, even with a ticket that even THEY know would never win legitimately.

26. Get Corsi in there somewhere
after all, he might be running for office in Massachusetts, which is batshit crazy enough as it is, considering his well-known anti-Catholic sentiments.

He could be the Ambassador to the UN, esp. considering how he's trying to cook up Iran as the next enemy of America.
