Don't forget, Dean on the Daily show tonight!!!
I have been waiting for this one. I wish I was a fly that could be there before, during, and after the interview. I am curious as to what they would say to one another.

3. Awesome... two weeks too late, though
It will still be good, should be, if Howard just lets himself be himself.

The one thing I always come away with after seeing Dean is "He is such a Dad." I imagine his kids being slightly embarrased by him as he talks to their friends, but also his kids coming to him without hesitation when they need serious help. I also see him as the type of person who could be engaged in a rather important conversation but allowing it to be interrupted for a family crisis.

I see in Dean, true family values (he truly values his family.)

12. I was actually happy to know that Bill Hicks was not around
for W. but at the same time I wanted him to be just to see what he would say.

9. Yeah, but all-in-all he is very busy
Kudos to Jon Stewart for not being so uppity as to not to travel to do the interview. Shows that he has more integrity on his phoney-news show than the networks and the top three cable news channels.

8. If the Zogby poll is correct, The Daily Show will net Dean New Hampshire.
The Daily Show is a Hell of a popular show with college-age and just-grads across the nation, and I'd imagine it'd be in New Hampshire as well. If Zogby's 3-point or close to it margin holds true for New Hampshire, if Dean scores tonight, it could be the big push over the top. Jon Stewart - kingmaker, baby!

Later.

11. Stewart is always deferential, even to the likes of Ann Coulter
He doesn't avoid asking hard questions, but he is better at giving the person being interviewed enough rope to hang him/herself. So it is up to Dean. Can Dean 'play along?' Can Dean allow himself to be himself or is he still shellshocked from last Monday/Tuesday?

14. Well, judging from past episodes of The Daily Show...
Dean either didn't know he was on the show or decided to play along as an affable dork. Case in point, a few nights ago where Stephen Colbert was outside his bus screaming, "DEAN! DEAN! DEAN! YOU'RE AWESOME, DUDE!" Dean was on the steps during all this, finally yelled back, "AWESOME!", and went inside. It was really awkward, but hilarious, lol. I think he'll be fine.

Later.

16. Dean, more than ANYTHING, needs to push the kids out to VOTE!
I think he had a problem with the college kids actually getting out to vote in Iowa....he needs to impress on them how incredibly IMPORTANT this election is, and that he needs their votes.
