Heard on CNBC! Kudlow says that ROVE is responsible for our Great Economy
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 07:54 PM by KoKo01
OMG...did any of you hear this crap. For those "Financial DU'ers" who go over to Ozymandius Market Watch site here on DU LBN, every day this just had to be a slap in our faces.

Kudlow (Mr. Bear-Stearns Financial "Has Been" GURU who had to go into Cocain Abuse REHAB TWICE!

Anyway....hopefully Kudlow "kicked his habit...with all the money he spent on "high priced clinics for withdrawal" ....so onto the "meat of what he said."

Jerk...Screamer on CNBC ...was wailing and moaning that KARL ROVE WAS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ECONOMIC RECOVERY!

Anyone else here Kudlow off in some kind of "dreamland" or "wireland" with the "shock" as Pavolov from Bushies gave him tonight's talking points? :nuke:

I don't have the link...sorry....but if anyone heard him you could understant what I'm saying... SHEESH! He and KRAMER........go "f**k yourselves.......what the hell have you done for your fellow Americans, both of you shilling for the Bushies.......SHAME ON YOU!

SHAME.....:-(

2. Well.........the economy IS good
for Rove and his elite friends!

Hey, if they want to pin this economy on Rove...my guess is a crash is imminent...lol! I mean, since Rove is going down anyway, might as well take the blame for everything else with him.

3. Next they will say Rove is the senior Nasa scientist and
has already been to Mars.

When asked why didn't he stay there, they will not be amused.

Christian Right Wings tune into Kudlow/CNBC every night? Sheesh...I thought they were ALL in PRAYER GROUPS!

Who the hell is Kudlow talking to? I have friends in real conservative places like Greenwich, Connecticut who HATE BUSH and they WORK ON WALL ST. and HAVE BIG BUCKS. If THEY HATE BUSH...then WHO THE HELL is KUDLOW TALKING TO????

I think I've lost it. CNBC has folks turning to Kudlow and his follow up Kramer to figure out how they are going to pay their Mortgage and sen their Kids to College?

26. MacDonalds would go under?
The girth must be coming from somewhere.

Why, if Rush also went to jail, the fast food industry would fold entirely, sending us all into ruin.

We must protect them!

"screamer Kramer." :eyes: Either it's "Day Traders" under 30 years old who just "love that hype" or, GE/CNBC is paying Kudlow and Kramer "big bucks" to swill what s'wine or white powder. Otherwise what working person with a 401-K a family and mortgage and gas increases fuel and home insurance would listen to them and take them seriously? Who the hell are they "preaching to" with their raving rantings?

14. He's been in "rehab" twice..but was so charming to folks they gave him
"a pass." Hey...I'm all for rehab...but should he be such a huge "Guru" to folks out there on CNBC? Those who are too young to know. Or, what's worse maybe his "cocaine" habit gives him "cojones" with a younger crowd who see him as a "Survivor."

17. Joe Conason (Salon) RE: Kudlow and the Bush Cocainer's!
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 08:17 PM by KoKo01
Class will tell

The Bush cocaine controversy should encourage an overdue debate on why drug abuse among the rich is a "disease" while among the poor it is a "crime."

Answering honestly would require Bush to acknowledge one of the uglier aspects of the bipartisan "war on drugs" -- which is that like other kinds of wars, the casualties of this endless conflict are heavily concentrated among those who lack money, influence and social standing. Class will tell, as the saying used to go in places like Kennebunkport.

And what class tells us is that rich drug abusers get treatment and sympathy, while the poor get prison and scorn. The social disparities in the punishment of drug offenders are aptly illustrated by two cases: one that is statistically valid, and another that is simply real.

First, let's consider the typical drug defendant, who as we all know is likely to be a young jobless male without a high school diploma. A disproportionate number also are black or Latino. The average sentence for narcotics possession meted out to this typical defendant is roughly four years behind bars, according to statistics compiled by the Justice Department.

Upon conviction, the prospects for this typical offender are poor, since he is unlikely to receive treatment and will eventually emerge into society with a criminal record that leaves him pretty much unfit for any kind of work except the criminal conduct that sent him to prison in the first place.

Now let's examine the contrasting case of a more fortunate druggie -- a prominent Reaganite not altogether unlike the current Republican presidential front-runner. Lawrence Kudlow, the conservative Ivy-educated son of a rich New Jersey businessman, once served as chief economist for the Office of Management and Budget during the Reagan administration. Later, he earned $1 million a year at the investment house of Bear Stearns. He was also a cocaine addict who checked into the Hazelden clinic in 1995, after he blacked out and his third wife threatened to divorce him.

21. Yep..."Treason" of Rove doesn't matter to Kudlow...Rove is the Architect
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 08:34 PM by KoKo01
of the Booming Bush Economy...BBE..(as an acronym)...Doesn't it make you want to :puke: ???????? So...in "THEIR MINDS" don't ditch Rove because Stock Market will decline (according to a frown faced Kudlow.) :eyes:

I swear on a stack of bibles...this was what he said in his CNBC Editorial tonight. "Don't Ditch Rove, because he has been the one totally responsible for our Booming Economy."

What else could any sane, rational investor think about his ravings tonight? "TREASON kept our Markets Propped?" so....give "poor Karl in power?" :nuke:

I need to go read Nursery Rhymes after that one...or maybe re-read my copies of Grimm's Fairy Tales.

On EDIT: An overuse of Emoticoms (apology if that trivializes my original post}......but Geeze I was so pissed and flummoxed by Kudlow!
Only "emoticoms" could express my shock & disgust, outrage...at that complete lie!
