Poll question: Would you vote for a neo-con, just because they are registered as a |
|
Democrat?
This is just a question. But the reason a lot of Democrats betray us is because they believe we will back them no mater what.

and to put this answer in context, before this I used to believe in supporting democratic candidates no matter what.
That's why it makes a difference who we put up to run...if the party wants to hand it to repugs they'll run a splitter like Hillary. That way, they can blame us. And they know there's not a hairbreadth's difference between them so it's not a problem -- they're getting rich either way.

6. I have to assume you are referring to Hillary |
|
As she is essentially a NeoCon in DLC clothing.
And, no, I would not vote for her.

I have two sensible moderate Republican Senators from my State. They are ineffectual, of course, but they do count for giving the current Bush-Republicans the legislative majority.
Let's take back Congress 1st....then we can work to pick off the neo-con Dems. That's a whole lot better scenario, IMHO.

10. Before you trash Hackett, look at Schmidt... |
|
...We're not talking about neocon versus neocon in this race. Hackett is far from a neocon.
But Schmidt, damn, now that's one bought-and-payed-for talking-points repug. Denying her the seat is well worth the effort.

to want to win the war we are currently in. He seems to want to get the job done and get out. That's much better than the assholes that want to drag it out so we can steal more oil. Someone needs to stand up and say, let's train the hell out of some Iraqi soldiers so we can get our soldiers the f*ck out of this sh*t hole. He sounds like that kind of guy.

I might vote for a neo-con democrat without knowing it. There's about a million races on each ballot. I've never heard of 9/10 of the people I vote for. Besides, what if it's Santorum vs. Lieberman? Whachya gonna do?

15. This is why the good people of Conn. keep electing |
|
Joe Lieberman. I can't figure any other reason. If he is not a Republican in every sense except Party label, I don't know a DINO when I see one.
Diane Feinstein is another. Listen to them appease and enable and agree with the Republicans 9 times out of ten. Hear them tell us that we should go along to get along. Watch them bad-mouth other Democrats on the "news" shows. Pay attention to thir votes.
