8. For the record..cheney told
Senator Pat Leahy to "go fuck yourself" on the Senate Floor..

Unless cheney has told Reid to go fuck himself, too? :)

11. Haven't there been previous cases of Bush giving the finger?
Didn't he do that on a bus during the last campaign? And I recall seeing a video that apparently was taken before the start of one of his TV speeches when he was campaigning a long time ago in Texas. A montage of photos of Bush giving the bird would be hilarious.

16. He said he was a Democrat.
It was in a fairly recent issue of LA Weekly. His wife is also one.

19. Leno is the only funny thing left on TV
He got in quite a few zingers against Bush and John Roberts tonight, too. And the "99-Cent Store Shopping Spree" was hilarious.

18. Wow - I just saw it out here in California and he really did flip the bird
He and his entourage walked down a hallway past the cameras and the press, turned a corner and walked away. Then with his back to the camera he thrust his arm straignt into the air and flipped everyone off. Maybe those stories last year in Capitol Hill Blue about Bush's obscene trantrums and rages behind the scenes were true. Leno's comment was that when you're in your second term you don't care anymore, or something to that effect.

Incidentally, Leno was critical of the Bush Administration in his monologue. About the Roberts nomination, he said the Republicans had instituted a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. And he made fun of Bush's refusal to hand over Robert's papers and the Republican talking points about the attorney client privilege. He said that we the people are the client.
