CAFTA: Which corporate donors threatened to pull campaign donations? |
|
I heard on the Air America that Congressional leaders were being pressured to vote for CAFTA by corporate donors who threatened to pull campaign contributions from those that voted against CAFTA.
Is this the primary reason CAFTA passed? Because corporations are intimidating Congressional leaders to vote for disastrous bills like this?

Energy, Drug, Insurance and Finance.
The players who tell our Congress what to do.
and yes CAFTA was drafted by those four. It is not so much intimidation as is it a boss employee relationship.
Congress works for them, not us.
