and many pro-life Catholics are at least consistent and oppose the death penalty. Also, many Catholics, like myself (though I'm not practicing) are pro-choice and also oppose the dp.

penalty, abortion and war. Their views are consistent and I don't have a problem with that. I just sense that Roberts is a Catholic in the same sense Santorum is a Catholic, he'll oppose abortion but other death is A-OK.
