The larger problem is.....
We all know how corrupt this administration is. Now we hear of trial rigging at Gitmo. This is just the latest in a long string of illegal and unAmerican moves by this gang of crooks. BUT, Bush, for as much as we despise him, will not be the candidate in 2008. Neither will Cheney (thank God). So, how do we get the American voters to turn their backs on the republican party? This is quite a different matter than making a case against Bush. There are plenty of folks who voted for * (I haven't the foggiest idea why) and who now regret that vote. Many see now that he is a crook. His poll numbers are dropping faster like a rock.

How can we and the DNC capture that mal-content and direct it towards the candidate in 2008? The GOP tried to tie Gore to Clinton in 2000 and we could do that but with limited effect. So what is the answer. Of course, the mid-terms are next and most important.

1. most people keep it pretty simple
So I will assume that whatever evil shit Bush does, reflects on the party as a whole in most peoples eyes.

2. I see the potential for many ads.
Bill Frist--video of his senate speech re: Terry Schiavo and his flip-flop on stem cells

Rick Santorum--gee, what do you pick. Beatiality, demonizing Boston

John McCain--Abu Graib pictures and superimposed over him hugging *

4. With the DLC saying
that people who oppose torture and the war are anti-American, and often saying much the same things that the Republicans have been saying - to have any credibility or even appearance of opposition - we are going to need a Non-DLC candidate.
