Howard Dean, good work smacking down Wolf Blitzer on CNNI!

Blitzer, who practices the politics of personal destruction (Hey, Wolf, you're supposed to be the media, NOT the opposing candidate, or Rove's personal gopher) is maintaining his white-knuckled grip on the discussion of Dean's campaign barn-stormer, refusing to define Dean in any other terms, like the issues despite the fact that Wolfie's own on-line poll registered that his viewers want him to shut the hell up about all things unimportant.

Dean called Wolfie on his destructive tactics, to his face, in an interview, leaving Blitzer to sputter and pout, "But I wasn't the one who gave the speech."

Dean said, "Yeah, but you were the one who replayed it on air 645 times. But, hey, I knew when I went after this job that the media would be after me, and that they will continue to be after me once I get the job. I'm prepared for that."

There's nothing I like better than a babbling Blitzer. Good going, Howard. Wolfie's had it coming for a long, long time. He's pure sandbox, the kind cats use to do their thing.

and the anchorwoman talking to Wolf tried to spin the confrontation as another example of Dean's "anger." Wolf, to his dubious credit, said that Dean wasn't angry, that he even joked about the "I have a scream" (he had to repeat that) speech and the fallout. Wolf said he was defending "our profession."

He was just on replaying this and trying to get back at Dean by asserting that Dean himself has been referring to the whole thing, as if that was the same as what the media had done.

Charges without links, and you probably wonder why there's no reply. I think we know what you don't like about Dean's tax policy or his record as governor. (Hell, I love to tell people in N.D. that he appointed tough judges, as an example of how he shares "North Dakota Values".
