1. Is it legal to call people and volunteer to take them to the polls?
I would think Cinci has a lot of older people, as do most big old cities. Could some volunteers call them and offer to drive them to the polls if they can't drive?

Sorry, I live in Ga so I can't personally go to Ohio tomorrow.

]Got my fingers, legs, and toes crossed for Paul though!!!

2. You can ask them if they need rides
I've been phone banking for Hackett over the last few days and we've been asking people who sound old (a bit chancy that) if they need rides, in order to draw up a list for car pooling.

Lots of enthusiasm for Hackett from the people on the other end of the phone. I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm not sure those from "blue" areas understand quite hard this will be to pull off. Still feeling good but then again, I was in November as well!

4. Anderson Twp
Some nice Dem CPA has been letting the Hackett campaign use his 28-phone office over the weekend and even during office hours today. It's convenient but frankly a bit sterile and without the vitality of a main HQ site.

I wish I could take off time tomorrow but no dice. I'll just be fretting all day, hoping that it's going well.:o

6. Call nursing homes and talk to the activity director.
Old folks vote. Make sure they can get people out to vote. Offer what help you can.
