1. One can only hope...
.... that the clueless in our party will begin to see, there is nothing wrong in America with making an impassioned plea.

Bush** a SOB? Believe me, there are tons of people thinking it, they are just waiting for someone to have the fucking guts to say it.

Pink tutus, your day is over.

3. Amen and Amen.
The real message isn't to the Republicans, but to the DLC crowd and all the lukewarm Democrats who are afraid to speak out.

5. you know the bottom line is........
our system is only as good as the people in it, Give the folks someone to vote for and a Democrat does this after THIRTY freaking years of Repukican Rule. Damn it we need some honest people to run for Elected Office. Thanks Paul Hackett for a breath of fresh air......even if we don't agree on everything!!!!

6. When the nation is at stake, the gloves come off.
And tie your opponent inextricably to Bush.

9. The next time someone in our party tells us...
... that we gays (and gay allies), pro-choicers, anti-war activists et al need to lay low and take another seat in the back of the bus "for the good of the party" or so we can "win", tell them to EAT FRIGGING SHIT!!

15. No, the DCCC wrote it off at first.
Not the DNC. Dean's goal is to contest every race, no matter where.

13. That's good to hear
I know that Kerry supported him, and Clark. Did they appear with him? Did he receive money from the party? I hope so. And I hope the party learned from this campaign. There is no down side to standing up to &!

14. DCCC takes the major role, only they don't unless candidate is viable.
The DNC has had info and pictures up about him all week, and has been coordinating efforts with vice chairs, etc. I know Susie Turnbull was there for sure, she had a diary at Kos. I think there were individual Democrats there.

Dean was not there, he was in Birmingham today, Atlanta on Thursday, and there was something over the week-end.

DFA raised 100,000 almost, and their state groups worked with him. I know other former candidates sent people to help, and bloggers were there.
