let's take one dead and imagine...
....what a loss this country has sustained...no big theoretical...no "he might have been", just this-over 1800 times we have lost those who, past theoretical, past the hopes, past the averages....to DIE in Iraq took people of vision and scope-No one got there by mistake....they applied, they performed, and EACH could have added to America...Instead,we spent them...these may be the ugliest words I have ever read in English-WE SPENT THEM....

3. and how many more have been severely injured?
i think i've heard numbers between 10,000 and 15,000 ...

imagine the impact on each family ... a lifetime of medical problems and expenses ... lost earnings ... primary caretakers ... pain and surgery after surgery after surgery ...

it's a nightmare ...

this is the course so many believe we should keeping pursuing ... and casualty rates have been increasing, not decreasing ... it's madness ...

and Iran is next ... count on it ... i wonder if the Dems will have the guts to stand up to bush and say "No fucking way" ... or would that make us seem "weak on defense" ... gotta maintain that macho image if we want to win elections, i guess ...

thanks for reminding us that there are human beings behind those rapidly growing numbers ...

6. the 13000 number is fabricated; word is it's over 43000
Of course, they're alive so they can fight for themselves to be counted. Getting an accurate count of the dead is somewhat more difficult.
