The manager of the Kansas City Royals lost his nephew in Iraq today
Lance Cpl. Timothy Michael Bell Jr., 22, of West Chester, Ohio.
He was the nephew of Buddy Bell, manager of the Kansas City Royals.

It doesn't make him any different than the others who have died in Bush's folly.
It just makes him another number.

I met Buddy Bell recently, and I shook his hand and he seemed like a nice guy.

I felt bad for him today the minute I heard this.

WHEN IS THIS GOING TO END?????

3. Saw the news today about the 14 soliders killed...
and wondered the same thing. When, and how will this all end?

4. So sad, he looks like a baby
What a terrible tragedy, not just for Bell but for anyone who has lost a loved one for these despicable lies.

I grieve for him and all the others who have lost treasured family and friends.

7. He may not be any different, but he is known to more people
Celebrities are known to more people, even if they don't know the people. So when a celebrity goes through something like this, there are more people who feel they know him or her, so there is more grief.

Buddy Bell used to play for the Rangers. I watched him a lot back then. So it is sad to me, too.

11. Hmm, good question. He played two stints, and his second was while W
owned the team, in 1989 (I looked it up, my memory isn't that good). Don't know if they were friends. It would be interesting if they were.

8. I don't want this to be taken wrong, so please don't
Maybe things like today will start to wake people up.

When are people going to wake up and see what is going on...all for a pack of lies?!

And why is it alway buried in the middle of the newspapers, on never on the front page?

Rest in peace brothers and sisters

:(

12. Another beautiful young person
sacrificed so Halliburton and Friends can have a little MORE MORE MORE $$$$$$

And Repukes are proud of this? Every time i see another face of another dead soldier, I struggle mightily not to hate every last Republican in this country. I really do.
