Win or Lose: I'm still a proud supporter of John Kerry
Tomorrow is going to be heartwrenching- either way.

I support John Kerry regardless of what place he comes in. I support him because I believe in his platform and I believe that he is the best man for the job. If the people of New Hampshire disagree, so be it. But I won't be blaming anyone for the loss- not the media, not Karl Rove, and not the other candidates. This is our election to lose. I can only hope that we gave it our best effort and that it's enough.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow. :-)

1. Well said curse!
I feel the same way. Best man for the job, whether people agree or not.

3. Good luck to you too
It will be an exciting day tomorrow. It is difficult to be so far away from NH and unable to help canvas and do other work for Kerry. But I think Kerry has the best set of attributes and above all, is electable. If I did not believe he was the most electable, I wouldn't support him regardless of my agreement with his stands on the issues.

Electability is everything. Without it, we have GWB for another 4 years of terrible times. I'm counting on the NH voters to see it that way too.

Let's have faith in the NH electorate, stop watching the polls and have the patience to see what happens.

4. me too
I'm still proud of my first choice, Gephardt, as well. I still think he would have made a great president, but only one guy can win.

5. Good point
Lets vote for him on the basis of his record. How do you like it? The nice thing about voting for o against politicians as opposed to someone like Clark, is that we can have access to more than their campaign rhetoric. You sy this, but what have you done in the past? If you like his record, you should certainly support him

6. I applaud you for your support but if he gets the nom we lose..
Washington establishment Democrats who voted with the repubs will not be permitted to represent us...Plus I just just get the vibe that he can't take on the Right wing...

7. Kerry failed to oppose right-wing agenda
Kerry voted for the Patriot Act, the No Child Left Behind Act, the Iraq War. He did not vote against the Medicare reform legislation or the omnibus spending bill which eliminated overtime pay for some workers. Kerry has even opposed increasing the minimum wage.

When the Republicans took over Congress in 1994, Kerry said that he "was delighted with seeing an institutional shake-up because I think we need one."

Kerry has utterly failed to show leadership in opposing the right-wing agenda. The last thing we need is someone with a record of abjectly appeasing the Republicans.

10. I guess my husband the firefighter doesn't count as a
working person, nor do the custodial workers that Kerry stood with when they went on strike, nor the nurses who Kerry stood with when they went on strike.

Or how about this from the Harvard Living Wage campaign...

...In fact, the Harvard sit-in crawled with politicians. Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy visited once and spoke via-cell phone at the victory rally; Democratic Senators John Kerry of Massachusetts and Paul Wellstone of Minnesota also endorsed the campaign, as did Congressman Barney Frank and numerous local politicians.

14. Which section of the Patriot Act do you hate the most?
Sec. 1012. Limitation on issuance of hazmat licenses really ticks me off.

I don't like these much either I don't know how any American can support the government (sicko's) doing anything like these (to name a few):

Sec. 209. Seizure of voice-mail messages pursuant to warrants.
Sec. 222. Assistance to law enforcement agencies.
Sec. 362. Establishment of highly secure network.
Sec. 363. Increase in civil and criminal penalties for money laundering. (Grrr... this one....)

Sec. 414. Visa integrity and security.
Sec. 427. No benefits to terrorists or family members of terrorists. (This is just unamerican!)

Sec. 611. Expedited payment for public safety officers involved in the prevention, investigation, rescue, or recovery efforts related to a terrorist attack.
Sec. 613. Public safety officers benefit program payment increase.
Sec. 621. Crime victims fund.
Sec. 622. Crime victim compensation.
Sec. 623. Crime victim assistance.
Sec. 624. Victims of terrorism.
Sec. 907. National Virtual Translation Center.
Sec. 1001. Review of the department of justice.
Sec. 1005. First responders assistance act.
Sec. 1008. Feasibility study on use of biometric identifier scanning system with access to the fbi integrated automated fingerprint identification system at overseas consular posts and points of entry to the United States.

Sec. 1010. Temporary authority to contract with local and State governments for performance of security functions at United States military installations.

Sec. 1014. Grant program for State and local domestic preparedness support.(Nazis!)

It's laws like these that will ruin America!
