If Cindy Sheehan is arrested on Thursday, could this turn into W's
"1968 Democratic Convention police attack" or "Kent State"?

14. It depends.
It will be a Kent State if somebody ends up shot.

That's a very real possibility.

Let's hope it doesn't turn into a Kent State.

2. This would be the stupidest move bu$hco could make.
The very speculation could be another Rovian smokescreen, as well.

4. I was thinking the same thing....
maybe not Kent State, but at least a watershed event...

Hopefully it won't come to that, but drastic times call for drastic measures and it appears that Ms. Sheehan is prepared.

But I wouldn't count on it.

It'll mainly depend on how much media coverage the incident gets, and how much violence is used by the Gestapo and the SS, I mean
the feds and local law enforcement.

Remember Kent State resulted in four dead students at the hands of the Ohio National Guard, and it was televised. The same can be said of the 1968 Covention, no dead, but lots of injured, some seriously, but once again television coverage.

8. Ok, where are the Dems??? If Cindy is to be arrested, why aren't
Kennedy, Boxer, Clinton, Dean, and ALL tv Dem pundits down there to be arrested right along with her? If bush arrested all of them, he would be opening a can of worms just like the one he opened up in the Middle East. Jesse Jackson needs to get his ass down there before Thursday also. The silence of the Dems on this is deafening.

11. We have to hope that it's a rallying point and not a flashpoint
A place where people of all stripes can come together in the name of decency. It may be a tipping point for some that are still on the fence. I can't imagine how bad his poll ratings would be if she were to be arrested. And you know how some people hate a political loser. Bit by bit people are peeling away from supporting the administration.

12. If she is arrested on thursday
It will draw major unwanted attention to the Bush camp. Imagine, the sight of the mother of a fallen young Marine being led away by police while trying to get some satisfaction from his commander-in-chief.

I pray for Cindy Sheehan, and by God if she has the wherewithall to take it to the mat God bless her. She knows pain like few of us can imagine.

And to those right-wing crackpot cowards like Sean Hannity, Neil Boortz, Rush Limbaugh, Dann Coulter et al that denigrate her for standing up for her son, I say may you all suffer in hell. She has earned the right to speak out, unlike yourselves.

Go Cindy! America will be better because of you!
