what i find odd
don’t the republicans notice that every time a powerful dem starts to make waves and are contrary to the current admin, they suddenly get attacked, they always have something that is blown up out of proportion and used to attack them swift boat style? that stories often are made of whole cloth aka rush and the Roberts add?

Don’t these people #@!$%@!$%!@% think!!!!??????

10. 'The Dems,' should have designed a strategy against this after seeing
what Max Cleland went through.

I wonder if any at the brain trust level of our party thought about that . . . that if the repubs did this once so effectively and with NO remorse, they would probably use the strategy again.

So far, I don't see us having any cohesive plan to deal with the next swiftie scam.

Paul Hackett seems to have the nerve and the voice to pound them back these days (he just called Limbaugh 'that fat-ass drug addict' after hearing Limbaugh dissed his service).

Cindy Sheehan will be another voice, if they dare to swiftie her or her family, with no fear who will speak with power into those cowardly faces.

Hmm... you notice, both Cindy and Paul aren't afraid to name-call.

2. And excuses are made for Republicans who are even felons
Excuses and coverups for Republicans, lies and laser beams for Democrats. And that's the way they like it as they dance us through the looking glass.

7. Shoot the messenger is the most common rebuttal
Edited on Tue Aug-09-05 05:29 PM by firefox
"Shoot the messenger" is a fallacy in logic. In all seriousness, it is the most common argument of the lunatics. Just do some reading at FreeRepublic and it will be even more evident to you how often it is employed.
