The revelations in the vanity fair article are serious. The speaker of the house was possibly involved in bribery and the corporate media is silent. The Sibel Edmonds story is also very disturbing. Ashcroft gags her and members of congress using the sate secrets act and this is not important news? the missing white girl in Aruba trumps Sibel Edmonds?

I am so sad for this busted up mess of a country we now live in.
When and if the pendulum swings our way I say show them no mercy for their crimes against the people of this nation. No pardons, no immunity, frog march the bastards every last one of them starting with the CEOs of the broadcast companies for their criminal negligence.

34. I read this issue Saturday in B&N - Helluva an issue

The issue is full of great stories. Don't forget the one on how military recruiters are cheating badly because they are so desparate for warm bodies.

Maybe VF is making up for running the Klein book crap smearing Hillary. I noted they had a ton of letters on that issue - none supporting them running the book excerpts.

Since today is payday I'm going to have to go out and buy a copy. At $4.95 it's damn well worth it. I think I'll copy the articles and leave it sit in the lunch room - maybe some of the Repukes I work with will read some of it.
