Counter Clinton Library group folds
A group that had hoped to build two museums to rebut the displays at the Clinton Presidential Library with strong support from former Georgia Republican congressman Bob Barr is folding.

<snip>

He said the Counter Clinton Library's Web site would be shut down soon. In addition to railing against the former president and his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., the site touts what may have been the failed organization's biggest moment - a segment on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" in which a fake news reporter makes fun of the group's very mission.

That same show joked that presidential libaries draw "tens of visitors a year," but the Clinton Library has exceeded most expectations since opening in November, drawing more than 400,000 people in less than nine months.

<snip>

In a separate e-mail sent Wednesday, (Richard) Erickson informed (Bob) Barr that he couldn't raise enough money to continue.

"Nearly every dime raised has gone to professional fundraisers and lawyers," Erickson wrote to Barr. "I cannot continue, in good conscience, to ask well-meaning people to donate to what they believe is a good cause, when the money will most likely be consumed in administrative and legal expenses."

3. The more time goes by the stupider they feel
particularily when Iraq is such a flaming stinking failed mess. Clinton obsession, though still a mainstay with some pukes, is now passe.

4. Oh yes, yes! Cry bitter, bitter tears, Mr. Erickson
Yes, let them roll in fat rivulets down your face as you realize that if only the Clinton economy had continued for the last five years as strongly as your delusional vitriol, you would have been rolling in enough money.

Weep, Mr. Erickson.

I'll be doing something else, though.

(Hint: :rofl:)

5. "to rebut the displays" ??
:wtf:

See that book? It's not really a book, it just looks like one. And where is the stained blue dress? And the cigar?

How the f*ck do you 'rebut' a display?
