Oil at nearly $70 Barrel....Who can afford and who cannot= FAMINE
Poor Nations cannot afford this hike and still to come...higher.

Its a bidding War...Poor countries will starve, no fuel for their tractors to grow food....

They see America using fuel in a grossly wasteful fashion. We think of ways to waste. The poor Nations Hate us for our Waste.

Its these Nation who will soon perish due to lack of food, etc.

The Pubs have the money, they don't care. Seems like they want a DIE OFF so they can enjoy the Planet without crowds, without pressure of bidding for oil.

I guess a reduction of consumers of oil is their main plan

Hike the price and reduce the competition for the Spice...

The NeoCons will starve the world for their gain.

Cheap price is a war or two to distract....its all about Greed and selfishness...

We cannot be the worlds COP and we cannot be the worlds food bank is how they think...so...kill um off in a legal way... make them starve to death...

Its happening already....

Scarey....is it true? all the signs point to a cynical solution to a growing Planetary population and a dwindling resource base.

if we stopped building war machines and retro fitting our planet and develop energy efficient technologies. those developments won`t come from the united states in the future but from china and india.

2. Right, because it would be in their best interest to develop new
and more efficent systems. In America, we don't have the smart to do this. We American have been dumbed down to the point where we don't realize the dire consequences of puting our heads in the sand re efficiency.

Bush Co wants and will get a DIE OFF..

Its a SET UP...Them Pubs want a FAMINE...more efficent and clean than a war.....

serious problems while Bush states the economy is showing signs of strength!

someday electric airplanes will run just fine... as fine as do the jets, the engine drive props and all the rest.

18. The energy required to fly 747s is enormous, the BTUs needed
must come from hydrocarbons for the moment.

Electric planes are far into the future with small payloads compared to fuel made from oil.

19. There are a couple of powerplants that are approaching 80%
efficiency.... mind you, the fuel cell driven plane will still neet either hydrogen, propane, methane, or if it has an onboard reformer, clean diesel, gasoline etc. The point is the efficiency rating, it is just this side of unbelievable.

23. Let us all hope, pray, and wish for this solution lest we fall into an
energy crisis resulting in a mass die off.

Its the Four Horsemen:

Natural shit, floods and crap

Famine shit

War Shit

Disease Shit

The NeoCons cannot use the war shit to very high levels, bad name

The Disease thingy is out, germ warfare illegal

We cannot control Nature and its earthquakes, etc...only a few thousand die anyway

The one thing left to semi intentionally reduce human pops is FAMINE

Stalin starved 7 million in the Ukraine in the late 40's....

The Die Off will take 50 to 500 Million as a start and more like 1 to 2 Billion.....The Math equations re this aspect speak for themselves...

8. Euros are energy efficient, compared to U.S. anyway....
the combined population of Germany, France, UK and Italy is almost the same as the U.S., yet their combined energy consumption is still less than half that of the U.S.

21. Why yes... yes, you're right...
That is their agenda.
It's that simple.
When you finally realize it and internalize it and once and for all get it...

Then everything makes sense. Everything they do makes perfect sense.
Once you get it that they are getting ready to kill off half the global population, then all their actions make sense. It's very simple really...

22. Here's what Stan Goff writes:
Farming and agriculture is intensely dependent on oil and petroleum products. From fertilizing, to planting to harvesting, to driving the produce to the market, it's one of the most oil-intensive industries.

The world on its own can sustain about 2 billion people. We just passed th 6.5 billion mark earlier this year. This means that about 4 1/2 billion people are at risk.

Goff further writes that "wars will be fought and won over oil. Many millions of people will die in these wars."

As the price of oil starts to go up dramatically, I fully expect rioting at the gas pump. I can almost visualize an angry mob, standing by a traffic light. They see a fool coming up in his Hummer. He stops at the red light.

The mob pushes forward, pulls the man out of his Hummer, and beats him on the street. We should also expect a long, bitter cold winter in the Northeast US, with people freezing to death because they can't pay for heating oil.

Sorry to be pessimistic, but I can clearly hear Jimmy Carter's words ringing in my ears, "We must do everything we can to reduce our dependence on foreign oil".

26. It certainly seems that way.
Notice how they're not doing anything about Africa. People are dying over there by the hundreds of thousands. I mean, literally slaughtered. The ones who make it are at risk of starvation. And what does the US do?

(yawn. stretch) Looks out the window. Twirls thumbs. Hm, it's going to be a nice day here in Washington, ain't it? They DON'T CARE. It's so obvious. People are at risk or are dying in various parts of the world.

Now you mention the word OIL, and they perk up. Their little antennas come out of their heads, and they're INTERESTED.
