Here's why I hope the primary is VERY, VERY close. |

Driving to work and home again today, 90% of the news coverage was about the primary (admittedly it was NPR I was listening to.) The coverage was overwhelmingly positive, and NPR has a reporter following each of the candidates.
I heard more Bush bashing in the couple hours I heard today than I have all year. Real issues were being discussed, and the candidates weren't going after each other.
I want this to continue, but I feel that it only will if the race continues to be tight. If one candidate emerges the clear front runner, then I believe the media will largely ignore the Democrats until about September.
