|
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 12:01 AM by jchild
In that it usually goes republican. Here's how it works. You can be an Independent, and vote Democratic tonight, then sign a form saying you want to go back to being an Independent before you leave.
Then you can vote BUSH in the general...
Here's what pisses me off. We are letting mostly white states, states that went Bush last election, determine who our chosen one will be.
I wish the first Primary was in a state more reflective of the nation.
Who wants to bet who will be tapped tonight?
And on edit, this is how all of New HAmpshire operates. It isn't specific to Dixville. Any independent can become a dem long enough to cast the vote and then sign a form reverting to independent. What a fucking scam.

This problem only exists in the primaries and it is usually only mentioned by the folks whose candidates are losing.
Let me pass on a basic lesson of real-world politics: a win is a win is a win.
Even if we go down in flames tomorrow, tonight we won!

It was time for a little pick me up after none stop media obituaries. They.ve been trying to write Wes out of the race since a week after he entered.

getting Dixville, OR something similar to that.
It might of been everyone Dixville has chosen has received their party's nomination.

and blow out my candle for another day. This should send other NH voters a message. Wes is AOK.
Just heard he won in another little town that votes early.
What are they going to say a fox now? That should get him some media attention. But knowing the whores...he'll get ignored.

110. awwww ... nobody won nuttin' |

This is just a bunch of independents ... not real Democrats (and I won't make the Clark comment that's in my heart ... ahem ...)
Dixville Notch pisses me off, Man ... I don't see why independents get to vote in the party primaries up there in N.H.
Independent voters get to walk around saying, "Well, I'M an INDEPENDENT! I'm an independent thinker (unlike you, you registered Democrat, you) and and independent voter," like they're some big friggin' deal (I know some very snotty independents).
So why in the name of all that is holy should they be able to have a say in who the candidate is in MY party ... the party I worked for before I could vote. The party I've been a proud member of since I was eligible to vote (almost 30 years). This is OUR nominee, dammmit! Get your own damned "INDEPENDENT" candidate and convention. And good freakin' luck with THAT.
Dixville Notch. What a bunch of poop. Primaries should be for the PARTIES to decide who THEIR nominees are. Not a bunch of independents getting to show off (and getting to intimidate Democrats into changing their party affiliations, apparently). Poop.
