Journalist points out Krauthammer, Kristol, and Friedman as "pushers".. |
|
for the war in Iraq. Harold Meyerson, of the Washington Post, was on C-SPAN this morning and spilled names in the media that helped Bush in his push for war. He did say that Friedman did seem to push the war for different reasons than Krauthammer and Kristol, but was instrumental in creating support in the populace before the war. But, his main point was that they were all tragically wrong. Someone needs to hold them responsible.

When I'm wrong at work, I'm held accountable. Pundits should be held accountable too by the papers that carry their columns. Why would any paper want to carry columns by someone who is regularly and spectacularly wrong?

3. Kristol and Krauthammer are PNAC signatories...gee...hmmm... |
|
Krauthammer signed PNAC's September 20, 2001 statement on the war on terrorism while Smilin' Billy is the Poo Pa for PNAC.
As for Friedman...yuck...

4. Kristol is the alleged "chairman" of PNAC |
|
Sure, he's just a figurehead since the REAL power of PNAC is in the White House & Pentagon, but just the fact that he holds such a title should prevent him from having a regular timeslot on a news network. Krauthammer is also a PNAC shill. Friedman?? I don't know who he really works for. I've heard talk that he's CIA. Wouldn't surprise me. He's obviously more about disinformation than he is actual reporting.

6. I'm serioulsy wondering how |
|
friedman feels about being such a barking dog for a mass bloody mess?
His name is going down in infamy for writing all those words and not knowing anything he was talking about.
Like he was sitting there at his computer with a big black bag over his head.

12. That's actually a pretty good meme for US to "push" - |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 11:53 AM by calimary
"Pushers." "War Pushers." The term "pusher" has a very negative connotation from its drug context. So let's tag the bad guys with it! Words like "pusher" and other negative-connotation words and terms should be epoxied to these people, permanently. Their names should NEVER be mentioned WITHOUT also mentioning these terms. The two must go hand-in-hand. Repeatedly. You know, to sort of catapult the propaganda.
