Bush Job Approval

Wednesday August 17, 2005-- President Bush's Approval Rating has tumbled five points over the past week to the lowest level ever recorded by Rasmussen Reports.

Just 43% of American adults now approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Fifty-five percent (55%) disapprove.

The President's Approval Rating has fallen to 47% among those who are married. Just 38% of unmarried respondents give the President their approval. Forty-six percent (46%) of Investors Approve along with 41% of non-Investors.

Rising oil prices have pushed consumer confidence to its lowest level in nearly two years. The oil price surge has also increased support for building nuclear power plants. Confidence in the War on Terror has reached its lowest level ever.

1. And this poll usually has the best numbers for *
of the major polls. So things must be pretty bad out there. And I think we're starting to see the results of Cindy's vigil here. His arrogance is giving people who never thought about it a real bad taste in their mouth.

8. Strongly Approve
I think the biggest surprise to me is the drop in those who Strongly approve. That number used to be peggged at about 27. I really never thought those people would see the light. Some of them have, Perhaps there is hope.

2. That is really low for him. The "strongly approves" are the loyal rpigs
and the "somewhat approves" are the right wing fundamentalist who are pissed because he has not instituted forced Christian prayer in schools and has not locked up same gender couples.

3. The same stupid people who.....
voted for Bush will support Nuclear Power Plants....

Oh, yeah just like those who won't go to fight The Bush War.....the Nuclear Energy Plant supporters will say "Hey it's OK.... just as long as it's not in my back yard...

4. Rasmussen Reports is having trouble bending their reports for Mr. Bush Jr.
I can hear Mr. Rove now, "What the hell is with these reports? They are fucking us up! Hear me, what comes around goes around, you hear me, good".

So much for humor. What does bother me is that there is no plus or minus in the report, also how many people were polled and folks, that is a joke! Some much for a professional report.

Another point (taking the numbers for what they are) is that the Strongly Disapprove is probably within the plus or minus when adding Strongly and Somewhat Approve. On top of that the Somewhat Approve have some major disagreements with the president. This is Mr. Bush Jr.'s base talking back to him.
