"Current TV" is running a story on the worm which hit computers yesterday.
in ten minutes.

"Worm" produced by Justin Gunn

A computer worm shut down computer systems running Windows 2000 software across the United States on Tuesday, hitting computers at CNN, ABC and The New York Times.

=======================

This is the first time I've seen them respond to something which happened that recently. More like regular journalism.

3. Funny.... the Windows 2000 kernel is (I belive) a modified Unix kernel
which is "Linux" so to speak.

5. You mean The Navel Gazing Network?
I hope this channel improves, but so far all I've seen are stories produced by young people who talk about themselves and how it is so hard to be a newlywed, buy a house and still find time to jump off of cliffs.

6. That may be all you've seen because it was established as a network
for short stories produced by young people who talk about themselves, etc.

9. Dam, my Windows 2000 platform is running just fine
sounds like bullshit to me!

FYI: The person who was the head of the design team for Digital Corporation on their Unix OS is the same person who designed Windows NT 3.5 and 4.0. Windows 2000 is NT 5.0 and Windows XP is NT 5.1 based on the earlier versions of NT.
