Just saw him first time - up close and personal on Bill Maher.
Sorry Ohio, you cannot keep him for yourself. He is great: articulate, knowledgeable, quick on his feet, sense of humor, handsome.
Everything that the others are not. At least... until he gets "handlers" who are going to tell him to be more oblique and never say anything that can be thrown back at him.
Where do I sign up?

4. i dunno, shouldn't he get some sort of experience? |
|
Clark at least had commander of the NATO alliance. While I like Paul Hacket very much, he'd be excoriated if he ran for President for his lack of experience. How about we get him to run for Governor of Ohio so he has some kind of executive experience where that won't be an issue?

11. I am stuck in Ohio and like... |
|
Strickland for Governor...we already have Coleman (mayor of Columbus) running as well.....we need someone to run against DeWine or whomever wins the pug primary.
We have a fabulous Dem here....Todd Portune...but he decided not to run...lots of reasons, which are very understandable...but I would have loved to see him in DC....smart, integrity, ideals, a person who loves this country and its constitution...
If you knew Todd Portune.....Hackett becomes so disappointing. And IMHO, Hackett likes women in the kitchen....fwiw. wiyaadiial.

Marines and military men tend to look at women as existing for the pleasure of men but he appeared intelligent to realize that these opinions no longer hold.

I live in Cincy. Remember...this is a Reagan man, OK? I think running for Senate against DeWine would be cool. I believe DeWine has a primary contender!!!!! DeWine has not been conservative enough for the rabid neocons.

I would definitely campaign for him!!
Al Franken interviewed him once on his Sundance Show but he was on the phone then. This is the first time I've actually seen him, he's cool!!
It's so good to have Maher back again!!

2006, all of them are up for re-election in the house. Let's get him there first. Then, who knows about 2008?

Wish he had a little seasoning - he has enough 'creds' for me, but probably not enough for a national campaign. I'd vote for him tomorrow for any office. Was very impressed that he didn't back down or weasel when called out on calling * a chickenhawk and an sob. He has backbone, smarts and good looks...taking those traits in that order makes him a fine candidate in my book.

He has a lot of support around the state. He stands a good chance of winning and would probably get statewide backing (for senate in 06 that is)
